How do I copy and paste patterns?

Copying and pasting patterns is essential for building song arrangements and creating variations without starting from scratch.

Copy a Single Bar

Press altero + Group C once. The device copies the current bar you're on.

Copy an Entire Pattern

Press altero + Group C twice in quick succession. This copies the complete pattern including all bars.

Paste

Navigate to your destination (different scene, pattern, or bar position using minus/plus), then press altero + Group D to paste.

Additional Tips

You can paste across different groups. For example, copy a drum pattern from Group A and paste it into Group B. This works for both single bars and full patterns.

To copy sounds instead of patterns, enter sonus mode first, then use the same altero + Group C combo. Press it once to copy a single sound, or twice to copy all 12 sounds from a group.

The paste function is non-destructive until you confirm it, so you can experiment freely. If you make a mistake, use altero + Group B to undo (when the shield icon is lit).
