How do I connect MIDI devices?
EP-1320tutorialguide
The EP-1320 Medieval connects to MIDI devices via 3.5mm TRS-MIDI cables or USB-C. You can use it with keyboards, controllers, drum machines, or other MIDI gear for both input and output.
Physical Connections
Connect MIDI keyboards or controllers using a 3.5mm TRS-MIDI cable (MIDI to the device, 3.5mm to Medieval's MIDI in). For USB MIDI devices, connect directly via USB-C. The Medieval supports MIDI clock, start, stop, continue, song position, notes, and CC messages.
Playing Medieval with a MIDI Keyboard

- 3.Select a group (Group A through Group D)
- 4.Play your keyboard to trigger the 12 paeds chromatically
- 5.Press claves for chromatic keyboard mode with octave shifting using claves + minus/plus
Sequencing External MIDI Gear
