How do I unlock the hidden synth?

The OP-1 doesn't have a "hidden synth" that can be unlocked through button combinations or secret codes. All 10 synthesizer engines are available from the start when you press the Synth key and access T1.
Available Synth Engines
Press SHIFT + T1 in Synth mode, then turn the blue encoder to browse all engines:
- 1.FM - frequency modulation
- 2.Cluster - chained oscillators 3. Dr Wave - 8-bit style
- 3.Digital - pure digital 5. String - physical modeling
- 4.Pulse - square wave 7. Phase - phase distortion
- 5.Dsynth - dual oscillator 9. Voltage - multi oscillator
- 6.DNA - CPU ID noise
There's also a sampler engine available under T1, which lets you record and manipulate audio samples.
What You Might Be Thinking Of
If you've heard about a "hidden" feature, it might be:
- The DNA synthesizer engine, which uses your specific OP-1's CPU ID to generate unique noise patterns
- The sampler engine's ability to resample itself (ear mode) to create complex layered sounds
- Custom sound presets other users have created and shared online, which you can load via USB disk mode
All synth engines are accessible from day one without any unlocking required.
