TX-6 built-in effects:

Available effects:

  • EQ — 3-band per channel
  • Compressor — Per channel
  • Send effects — Reverb, delay

Channel EQ: 1. Select channel 2. Use encoder for frequency selection 3. Boost or cut frequencies 4. Three bands: low, mid, high

EQ tips:

  • Cut mud around 200-400Hz
  • Boost presence at 2-5kHz
  • Cut instead of boost when possible
  • Subtle moves are usually best

Compressor: 1. Per-channel compression available 2. Tames dynamics 3. Makes quiet parts louder, loud parts quieter 4. Use on vocals and instruments
