How do I save a sound?

Saving sounds on the OP-1:

Save a synth preset: 1. Create/tweak your sound in synth mode 2. Press shift + synth 3. The save menu appears 4. Turn blue encoder to select a slot (1-8 per engine) 5. Press blue encoder to confirm save

Save a drum kit: 1. In drum mode, set up your sounds 2. Press shift + drum 3. Select save slot 4. Confirm to save

What gets saved:

  • All synth parameters
  • Effects settings
  • LFO settings
  • Sequencer pattern (sometimes)

Loading saved sounds: 1. Press synth (or drum) 2. Turn blue encoder to find your engine 3. Turn orange encoder to select preset slot 4. Your saved sound loads

Factory presets:

  • OP-1 comes with factory sounds
  • These are stored in dedicated slots
  • User sounds are separate

Backup to computer: 1. Connect OP-1 via USB 2. Put OP-1 in disk mode (hold COM) 3. Copy .aif files from synth/drum folders 4. These contain your sounds

Tips:

  • Name your sounds logically
  • Back up regularly
  • Share presets with other OP-1 users
  • Factory reset won't delete user presets (usually)

Note: The OP-1 has limited preset slots per engine. Manage them carefully or back up to computer.
