Edit your sample:
- Green encoder: Start point
- White encoder: End point
- Orange encoder: Playback direction/loop
- Blue encoder: Pitch/speed
Sample tricks:
- One-shot: Play the sample once per key press
- Loop: Sample repeats continuously
- Forward/reverse: Play sample backwards
- Pitch across keys: Sample plays at different pitches
Saving samples: 1. Press shift + synth to access save menu 2. Select a save slot 3. Your sample + settings are stored 4. Recall anytime by loading that preset
Tips:
- Sample vinyl records for texture
- Use radio for random/experimental samples
- Sample your own synth patches with effects
- Layer multiple samples by bouncing to tape
Memory note: The OP-1 has limited sample memory. Complex/long samples use more space.
