How do I factory reset the OP-XY?

A factory reset will completely erase all user data, projects, and settings from your OP-XY. Make sure to back up any important work first.

Entering TE Boot

Turn off the OP-XY and disconnect any USB cables. Hold the Com button while switching the power back on. This enters TE Boot mode.

Factory Reset

  1. 1.Press track button 7
  2. 2.Press the orange encoder to confirm the reset
  3. 3.Wait for the process to complete. All user data will be removed.
  4. 4.Power off and on again to exit TE Boot and return to normal operation

Before Resetting

To backup your projects first, enter COM > M4 MTP mode and copy the projects folder to your computer. You can also backup samples from the samples/user folder while connected.
