How do I update the firmware?

Connect your EP-1320 to a computer using the USB-C cable, then visit teenage.engineering/apps/update and follow the on-screen instructions.
What You'll Need
A USB-C cable and a computer with internet access. The EP-1320 will appear as a MIDI device when connected.
Update Process
- 1.Power on your EP-1320
- 2.Connect it to your computer via USB-C
- 3.Open a web browser and go to teenage.engineering/apps/update
- 4.Follow the instructions shown on the website
The website will detect your device and guide you through the firmware update. Make sure not to disconnect the device during the update process.
After Updating
If you've just performed a factory reset, always update the firmware afterward to ensure you have the latest version. Your projects and user samples are not affected by firmware updates, only by factory resets.
