use mini XLR for pro setups:

1. connect included mini XLR to XLR cable
2. connect to mixer/interface/preamp
3. enable 48V phantom power if needed

when to use XLR:
- recording to professional gear
- when USB isn't available
- for very long cable runs
- with high-end preamps

note: phantom power won't charge battery
